2011 Acura TL Redesign

Acura plans another redesign for the 2011 Acura TL sedan. The last body change was in 2009 for the TL and included a complete redesign overhaul, so for the 2011 many are speculating small body tweaks or more of a redesign refresh involving head lamps and body trim. So expect 2011 Acura TL to look mostly the same for the new model year. Acura may give the TL’s divisive style a few design tweaks for more mass appeal, but major changes are unlikely. We will see once official press photos of the 2011 Acura TL are made available. If Acura ends up offering a V8-equipped TL, the body style of that model may look distinct from that of other trims. The biggest change rumored for the 2011 Acura TL is a first ever for Acura too by offering a V8 engine option. Industry experts are stating you can expect the 2011 TL to go on sale in late 2010.

While MD Acura shoppers will have to wait another month or two until the new model is rolled out, there has been made available some specification on the Acura TL already. Many Falls Church Acura Car buyers will be happy to know the car will go on sale starting at $36,000 MSRP and $33,000 invoice.

For the 2011 model fuel economy should remain the same for the current V6 engine, which is 18/26 MPG with 280 horsepower; however, if Acura goes ahead with the V8motor option Washington DC Acura shoppers will see lower fuel economy but substantial more horsepower. The V8 engine is set to offer 420 horsepower from a 4.8 liter engine. Acceleration: 0-60 mph in 6.7 seconds for V6 engine options; data unknown for V8 model at this time but spec should be out in October.

The option of the V8 engine for the 2011 TL is an interesting and many XYZ Acura shoppers will be heading out to their Maryland Acura dealership or Acura Baltimore dealership. The V8 motor creates vastly competitive sedan in the luxury/sports sedan line-up. The engine rumored for the TL is a massive 4.8-liter, 420-hp V8 that would position Acura on top of the class for 2011.
