Acura ups the performance of its sports sedan by adding a V-6 to the line-up, which is mated to a specially geared sport shift automatic transmission. The V-6 TSX also features revised front suspension with stiffer springs and revised calibration for the shock absorbers. The new engine produces 280 horsepower and 254 lb.-ft. of torque through the use of an 11.2:1 compression ratio, VTEC valve train and a dual-stage intake system. The 2.4-liter, inline four-cylinder produces 201 horsepower and 172 lb.-ft of torque. The four-cylinder is offered with either six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission. Standard wheels on the 2010 TSX are 17x7.5-inch aluminum alloy, while the V-6 rides on 18x8-inch wheels. Both sizes are shod with Michelin Pilot HX all-season tires. The V-6 uses special rear brake pads, a larger master cylinder, a revised pedal ratio and new brake booster. Gaithersburg Acura can tell you more about the 2010 Acura TSX.
